You can only list wines for sale that are physically stored in our Fine Wine Storage facility. If you would like to move wine to storage to sell, see this article.
There are two ways to determine what wines to sell. You can use the SELL tab, and view our suggestions for what to sell, or you can view all of the wines in your storage location that are eligible for sale.
Look for wines by storage location
To search for a wine in storage, tap the 'MY CELLAR' icon on the bottom navigation bar in the mobile app. Use the carrots to navigate from Drinking Now to 'CELLARS', and then select 'Vinfolio Storage'. If you have many wines in storage, you can use the filter icon to filter your list and define your sort order. Once you identify a wine you would like to sell, tap 'SELL' on the product card.
You can also view more information about the wine on the product detail screen and then tap the 'SELL' square to start the selling process.
Look for wines by Sell Suggestions
We provide you with personalized recommendations for what to sell. For more information on the logic behind these recommendations, see our Sell Suggestions article.
To see our recommendations, tap the 'MARKET' icon on the bottom navigation bar in the mobile app. Use the carrots to navigate from Selling to 'SUGGESTIONS'. You will see an icon that identifies why we are making the suggestions (reasons may be time left to drink, profit potential, or rate of consumption). To sell a wine, tap the 'SELL' link on the wines product card.
List your wine for sale
Select the quantity you would like to list and set your price. We have provided you with market pricing data and our suggested price. Please note: your price cannot exceed 20% of our suggested price. If you feel there is an error with our suggested price, please contact us at service@vinfolio.com.
View your listing one more time to make sure it is correct and then tap 'Confirm Listing'. That's it! Your wine is now listed for sale.
