The delivery timeframe for a pre-arrival wine varies significantly, depending on where the wine is coming from. In some cases, we are sourcing the wine directly from the producer, and if this is an overseas producer it can take a few months for them to package and ship the wines, for the shipment to clear customs, and for the wines to finally arrive at our storage facility. If we are sourcing the wines from a local importer, it may be only a few weeks until we receive them. Expect Bordeaux and Burgundy pre-arrivals to take longer to arrive than other wines, since French wineries sell pre-arrivals earlier than many other countries, and international shipping laws are complex.
When you select a pre-arrival wine from our website, we indicate how long we expect that particular wine to arrive at our storage facility. The time period indicated represents our best estimate based on information provided to us by our suppliers at the time of Vinfolio's purchase or subsequently. Occasionally, the original estimate may be extended based on new information we receive.
Please be assured that delivery of your wine is guaranteed based on our guarantee of pre-arrival delivery policy.
